What a lovely evening. I joined friends for a birthday dinner for Grandma (Carol's mom ... Carol is a co-worker). Grace (Grandma) is 95 years old. WOW!!! Was so nice. The dinner was at SG Garden off Huffman. I'd never been there before. Good food. But the company was super. I met some very nice folks, but especially got to see Penny Layne, and her parents, and visit with a lady named Mary who was a nurse. She had some great stories, and I probably could have chatted with her for a very long time.

Grace was gracious as always, as was her daughter Carol, who is the epitomy of graciousness. It was a pleasure to be included like family, and I appreciate it so much. They are some of the nicest people I know.
