It was an even better day and ride when, while in Homer, at the stop light, we saw this eagle in a nest in a tree next to the road. She apparently had eglets yesterday. Saw her feeding them, but couldn't really see the little ones. I could have stayed for a very long watching, but had to run ... lunch was calling, and the highway back to Homer.
