Rich just came up to Julie and told her he was riding with her for the Kenai 500. Poor guy didn't know he was getting the rest of us, too.

Vinnie of the rally had told Rich to ride with her, because she rides. That was a compliment, and I think he realizes he chose the right people. He's still hanging around, and wants to stay in touch.
